وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُدَّكُمْ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَقَالُوا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ مُفْتَرًى ۚ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, they say: "This (Muhammad SAW) is naught but a man who wishes to hinder you from that which your fathers used to worship." And they say: "This (the Quran) is nothing but an invented lie." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them (i.e. Prophet Muhammad SAW when Allâh sent him as a Messenger with proofs, evidences, verses of this Quran, lessons, signs, etc.): "This is nothing but evident magic!"
যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াত সমূহ তেলাওয়াত করা হয়, তখন তারা বলে, তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যার এবাদত করত এ লোকটি যে তা থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা দিতে চায়। তারা আরও বলে, এটা মনগড়া মিথ্যা বৈ নয়। আর কাফেরদের কাছে যখন সত্য আগমন করে, তখন তারা বলে, এতো এক সুস্পষ্ট যাদু।
