وَمَا آتَيْتُمْ مِنْ رِبًا لِيَرْبُوَ فِي أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُو عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا آتَيْتُمْ مِنْ زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ
And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other people's property, has no increase with Allâh, but that which you give in Zakât seeking Allâh's Countenance then those, they shall have manifold increase.
মানুষের ধন-সম্পদে তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ বৃদ্ধি পাবে, এই আশায় তোমরা সুদে যা কিছু দাও, আল্লাহর কাছে তা বৃদ্ধি পায় না। পক্ষান্তরে, আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের আশায় পবিত্র অন্তরে যারা দিয়ে থাকে, অতএব, তারাই দ্বিগুণ লাভ করে।
