فَإِذَا انْسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, then leave their way free. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

অতঃপর নিষিদ্ধ মাস অতিবাহিত হলে মুশরিকদের হত্যা কর যেখানে তাদের পাও, তাদের বন্দী কর এবং অবরোধ কর। আর প্রত্যেক ঘাঁটিতে তাদের সন্ধানে ওঁৎ পেতে বসে থাক। কিন্তু যদি তারা তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তাদের পথ ছেড়ে দাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
