كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
Similar to the behaviour of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and of those before them; they rejected the Ayât (proofs, verses, etc.) of Allâh, so Allâh punished them for their sins. Verily, Allâh is All-Strong, Severe in punishment.
যেমন, রীতি রয়েছে ফেরাউনের অনুসারীদের এবং তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল তাদের ব্যাপারে যে, এরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশের প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করেছে এবং সেজন্য আল্লাহ তা'আলা তাদের পাকড়াও করেছেন তাদেরই পাপের দরুন। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহাশক্তিশালী, কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা।
