فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُفَصَّلَاتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُجْرِمِينَ

So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood: (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists sinners).

সুতরাং আমি তাদের উপর পাঠিয়ে দিলাম তুফান, পঙ্গপাল, উকুন, ব্যাঙ ও রক্ত প্রভৃতি বহুবিধ নিদর্শন একের পর এক। তারপরেও তারা গর্ব করতে থাকল। বস্তুতঃ তারা ছিল অপরাধপ্রবণ।
