Surat al-Tariq (The Night-Star) - ٦٨ - سورة الطارق

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ
By the heaven, and At-Târiq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star);
শপথ আকাশের এবং রাত্রিতে আগমনকারীর।
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
And what will make you to know what At-Târiq (night-comer) is?
আপনি জানেন, যে রাত্রিতে আসে সেটা কি?
إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels in charge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds).
প্রত্যেকের উপর একজন তত্ত্বাবধায়ক রয়েছে।
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْإِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
So let man see from what he is created!
অতএব, মানুষের দেখা উচিত কি বস্তু থেকে সে সৃজিত হয়েছে।
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ
He is created from a water gushing forth,
সে সৃজিত হয়েছে সবেগে স্খলিত পানি থেকে।
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs,
এটা নির্গত হয় মেরুদন্ড ও বক্ষপাজরের মধ্য থেকে।
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ
Verily, (Allâh) is Able to bring him back (to life)!
নিশ্চয় তিনি তাকে ফিরিয়ে নিতে সক্ষম।
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ
The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth)
যেদিন গোপন বিষয়াদি পরীক্ষিত হবে,
فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
Then he will have no power, nor any helper.
সেদিন তার কোন শক্তি থাকবে না এবং সাহায্যকারীও থাকবে না।
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.
শপথ চক্রশীল আকাশের
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants),
এবং বিদারনশীল পৃথিবীর
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
Verily, this (the Qur'ân) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).
নিশ্চয় কোরআন সত্য-মিথ্যার ফয়সালা।
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (SAW)).
তারা ভীষণ চক্রান্ত করে,
