Surat al-Inshiqaq (The Rending) - ٤٨ - سورة الانشقاق

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ
When the heaven is split asunder,
যখন আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হবে,
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
And listens to and obeys its Lord — and it must do so;
ও তার পালনকর্তার আদেশ পালন করবে এবং আকাশ এরই উপযুক্ত
وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
And when the earth is stretched forth,
এবং যখন পৃথিবীকে সম্প্রসারিত করা হবে।
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
And has cast out all that was in it and became empty,
এবং পৃথিবী তার গর্ভস্থিত সবকিছু বাইরে নিক্ষেপ করবে ও শুন্যগর্ভ হয়ে যাবে।
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
And listens to and obeys its Lord, and it must do so;
এবং তার পালনকর্তার আদেশ পালন করবে এবং পৃথিবী এরই উপযুক্ত।
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ
O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, and you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did).
হে মানুষ, তোমাকে তোমরা পালনকর্তা পর্যন্ত পৌছতে কষ্ট স্বীকার করতে হবে, অতঃপর তার সাক্ষাৎ ঘটবে।
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ
Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand,
যাকে তার আমলনামা ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا
He surely will receive an easy reckoning,
তার হিসাব-নিকাশ সহজে হয়ে যাবে
وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
And will return to his family in joy!
এবং সে তার পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছে হৃষ্টচিত্তে ফিরে যাবে
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ
But whosoever is given his Record behind his back,
এবং যাকে তার আমলনামা পিঠের পশ্চাদ্দিক থেকে দেয়া, হবে,
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا
He will invoke (for his) destruction,
সে মৃত্যুকে আহবান করবে,
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
And he shall enter a blazing Fire, and be made to taste its burning.
এবং জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
Verily, he was among his people in joy!
সে তার পরিবার-পরিজনের মধ্যে আনন্দিত ছিল।
إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ
Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)!
সে মনে করত যে, সে কখনও ফিরে যাবে না।
بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا
Yes! Verily, his Lord has been ever beholding him!
কেন যাবে না, তার পালনকর্তা তো তাকে দেখতেন।
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ
So I swear by the afterglow of sunset;
আমি শপথ করি সন্ধ্যাকালীন লাল আভার
وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness;
এবং রাত্রির, এবং তাতে যার সমাবেশ ঘটে
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ
And by the moon when it is at the full,
এবং চন্দ্রের, যখন তা পূর্ণরূপ লাভ করে,
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ
You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter).
নিশ্চয় তোমরা এক সিঁড়ি থেকে আরেক সিঁড়িতে আরোহণ করবে।
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
What is the matter with them, that they believe not?
অতএব, তাদের কি হল যে, তারা ঈমান আনে না?
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩
And when the Qur'ân is recited to them, they fall not prostrate,
যখন তাদের কাছে কোরআন পাঠ করা হয়, তখন সেজদা করে না।
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ
Nay, those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Qur'ân and Islâmic Monotheism, etc.).
বরং কাফেররা এর প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
And Allâh knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds),
তারা যা সংরক্ষণ করে, আল্লাহ তা জানেন।
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
So announce to them a painful torment.
অতএব, তাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দিন।
