Surat al-Naba' (The Tiding) - ٨٧ - سورة النبأ

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ عَمَّ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
What are they asking (one another about)?
তারা পরস্পরে কি বিষয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছে?
عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ
About the great news, (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism, the Qur'ân, which Prophet Muhammad (SAW) brought and the Day of Resurrection),
মহা সংবাদ সম্পর্কে,
الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
About which they are in disagreement.
যে সম্পর্কে তারা মতানৈক্য করে।
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
Nay, again, they will come to know!
অতঃপর না, সত্বর তারা জানতে পারবে।
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا
Have We not made the earth as a bed,
আমি কি করিনি ভূমিকে বিছানা
وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا
And We have created you in pairs (male and female, tall and short, good and bad, etc.)
আমি তোমাদেরকে জোড়া জোড়া সৃষ্টি করেছি,
وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا
And We have made your sleep as a thing for rest
তোমাদের নিদ্রাকে করেছি ক্লান্তি দূরকারী,
وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا
And We have made the night as a covering (through its darkness),
রাত্রিকে করেছি আবরণ।
وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا
And We have made the day for livelihood.
দিনকে করেছি জীবিকা অর্জনের সময়,
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا
And We have built above you seven strong (heavens),
নির্মান করেছি তোমাদের মাথার উপর মজবুত সপ্ত-আকাশ।
وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا
And We have made (therein) a shinning lamp (sun).
এবং একটি উজ্জ্বল প্রদীপ সৃষ্টি করেছি।
وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاءً ثَجَّاجًا
And We have sent down from the rainy clouds abundant water.
আমি জলধর মেঘমালা থেকে প্রচুর বৃষ্টিপাত করি,
لِنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبًّا وَنَبَاتًا
That We may produce therewith corn and vegetations,
যাতে তদ্দ্বারা উৎপন্ন করি শস্য, উদ্ভিদ।
إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَاتًا
Verily, the Day of Decision is a fixed time,
নিশ্চয় বিচার দিবস নির্ধারিত রয়েছে।
يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًا
The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups after groups). (Tafsir At-Tabari)
যেদিন শিংগায় ফুঁক দেয়া হবে, তখন তোমরা দলে দলে সমাগত হবে।
وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَابًا
And the heaven shall be opened, and it will become as gates,
আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হয়ে; তাতে বহু দরজা সৃষ্টি হবে।
وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا
And the mountains shall be moved away from their places and they will be as if they were a mirage.
এবং পর্বতমালা চালিত হয়ে মরীচিকা হয়ে যাবে।
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا
Truly, Hell is a place of ambush —
নিশ্চয় জাহান্নাম প্রতীক্ষায় থাকবে,
لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآبًا
A dwelling place for the Tâghûn (those who transgress the boundry limits set by Allâh like polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, hyprocrites, sinners, criminals),
সীমালংঘনকারীদের আশ্রয়স্থলরূপে।
لَابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا
They will abide therein for ages,
তারা তথায় শতাব্দীর পর শতাব্দী অবস্থান করবে।
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًا وَلَا شَرَابًا
Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink.
তথায় তারা কোন শীতল এবং পানীয় আস্বাদন করবে না;
إِلَّا حَمِيمًا وَغَسَّاقًا
Except boiling water, and dirty wound discharges —
কিন্তু ফুটন্ত পানি ও পূঁজ পাবে।
جَزَاءً وِفَاقًا
An exact recompense (according to their evil crimes)
পরিপূর্ণ প্রতিফল হিসেবে।
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًا
For verily, they used not to look for a reckoning.
নিশ্চয় তারা হিসাব-নিকাশ আশা করত না।
وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كِذَّابًا
But they belied Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, and that which Our Prophet SAW brought) completely.
এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহে পুরোপুরি মিথ্যারোপ করত।
وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا
And all things We have recorded in a Book.
আমি সবকিছুই লিপিবদ্ধ করে সংরক্ষিত করেছি।
فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
So taste you (the results of your evil actions); No increase shall We give you, except in torment.
অতএব, তোমরা আস্বাদন কর, আমি কেবল তোমাদের শাস্তিই বৃদ্ধি করব।
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
Verily, for the Muttaqûn, there will be a success (Paradise);
পরহেযগারদের জন্যে রয়েছে সাফল্য।
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا
And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age,
সমবয়স্কা, পূর্ণযৌবনা তরুণী।
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا
No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear therein, nor lying;
তারা তথায় অসার ও মিথ্যা বাক্য শুনবে না।
جَزَاءً مِنْ رَبِّكَ عَطَاءً حِسَابًا
A reward from your Lord, an ample calculated gift (according to the best of their good deeds).
এটা আপনার পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে যথোচিত দান,
رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمَٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا
(From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and whatsoever is in between them, the Most Gracious with whome they dare to speak (on the Day of Resurrection except by His Leave).
যিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা, দয়াময়, কেউ তাঁর সাথে কথার অধিকারী হবে না।
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا ۖ لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا
The Day that Ar-Rûh [Jibril (Gabriel) or another angel] and the angels will stand forth in rows, none they will not speak except him whom the Most Gracious (Allâh) allows, and he will speak what is right.
যেদিন রূহ ও ফেরেশতাগণ সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড়াবে। দয়াময় আল্লাহ যাকে অনুমতি দিবেন, সে ব্যতিত কেউ কথা বলতে পারবে না এবং সে সত্যকথা বলবে।
ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَنْ شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ مَآبًا
That is (without doubt) the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)!
এই দিবস সত্য। অতঃপর যার ইচ্ছা, সে তার পালনকর্তার কাছে ঠিকানা তৈরী করুক।
إِنَّا أَنْذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ تُرَابًا
Verily, We have warned you of a near torment — the Day when man will see that (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say: "Woe to me! Would that I were dust!"
আমি তোমাদেরকে আসন্ন শাস্তি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করলাম, যেদিন মানুষ প্রত্যেক্ষ করবে যা সে সামনে প্রেরণ করেছে এবং কাফের বলবেঃ হায়, আফসোস-আমি যদি মাটি হয়ে যেতাম।
