Surat al-Tur (The Mount) - ٢٥ - سورة الطور

وَالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ
And by the Al Bait-ul-Ma'mûr (the house over the heavens parallel to the Ka'bah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels);
কসম বায়তুল-মামুর তথা আবাদ গৃহের,
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ
And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven).
এবং সমুন্নত ছাদের,
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
And by the sea kept filled (or it will be fire kindled on the Day of Resurrection).
এবং উত্তাল সমুদ্রের,
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ
Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass,
আপনার পালনকর্তার শাস্তি অবশ্যম্ভাবী,
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْرًا
On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking,
সেদিন আকাশ প্রকম্পিত হবে প্রবলভাবে।
وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا
And the mountains will move away with a (horrible) movement.
এবং পর্বতমালা হবে চলমান,
فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Then woe that Day to the beliers;
সেদিন মিথ্যারোপকারীদের দুর্ভোগ হবে,
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
Who are playing in falsehood.
যারা ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে মিছেমিছি কথা বানায়।
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing.
সেদিন তোমাদেরকে জাহান্নামের অগ্নির দিকে ধাক্কা মেরে মেরে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
هَٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
This is the Fire which you used to belie.
এবং বলা হবেঃ এই সেই অগ্নি, যাকে তোমরা মিথ্যা বলতে,
أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا أَمْ أَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
Is this magic, or do you not see?
এটা কি জাদু, না তোমরা চোখে দেখছ না?
اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوا أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Taste you therein its heat, and whether you are patient of it or impatient of it, it is all the same. You are only being requited for what you used to do.
এতে প্রবেশ কর অতঃপর তোমরা সবর কর অথবা না কর, উভয়ই তোমাদের জন্য সমান। তোমরা যা করতে তোমাদেরকে কেবল তারই প্রতিফল দেয়া হবে।
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ
Verily, the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2) will be in Gardens (Paradise), and Delight.
নিশ্চয় খোদাভীরুরা থাকবে জান্নাতে ও নেয়ামতে।
فَاكِهِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Enjoying in that which their Lord has bestowed on them, and (the fact that) their Lord saved them from the torment of the blazing Fire.
তারা উপভোগ করবে যা তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের দেবেন এবং তিনি জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে তাদেরকে রক্ষা করবেন।
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
"Eat and drink with happiness because of what you used to do."
তাদেরকে বলা হবেঃ তোমরা যা করতে তার প্রতিফলস্বরূপ তোমরা তৃপ্ত হয়ে পানাহার কর।
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
They will recline (with ease) on thrones arranged in ranks. And We shall marry them to Hûr (female, fair ones) with wide lovely eyes.
তারা শ্রেণীবদ্ধ সিংহাসনে হেলান দিয়ে বসবে। আমি তাদেরকে আয়তলোচনা হুরদের সাথে বিবাহবন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করে দেব।
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned.
যারা ঈমানদার এবং যাদের সন্তানরা ঈমানে তাদের অনুগামী, আমি তাদেরকে তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের সাথে মিলিত করে দেব এবং তাদের আমল বিন্দুমাত্রও হ্রাস করব না। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ কৃত কর্মের জন্য দায়ী।
وَأَمْدَدْنَاهُمْ بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
And We shall provide them with fruit and meat, such as they desire.
আমি তাদেরকে দেব ফল-মূল এবং মাংস যা তারা চাইবে।
يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ
There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vagin talk between them), and free from sin (because it will be lawful for them to drink).
সেখানে তারা একে অপরকে পানপাত্র দেবে; যাতে অসার বকাবকি নেই এবং পাপকর্মও নেই।
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَكْنُونٌ
And there will go round boy-servants of theirs, to serve them as if they were preserved pearls.
সুরক্ষিত মোতিসদৃশ কিশোররা তাদের সেবায় ঘুরাফেরা করবে।
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
And some of them draw near to others, questioning.
তারা একে অপরের দিকে মুখ করে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে।
قَالُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِي أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ
Saying: "Aforetime, we were afraid (of the punishment of Allâh) in the midest of our families.
তারা বলবেঃ আমরা ইতিপূর্বে নিজেদের বাসগৃহে ভীত-কম্পিত ছিলাম।
فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ
"So Allâh has been gracious to us, and has saved us from the torment of the Fire.
অতঃপর আল্লাহ আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করেছেন।
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ
"Verily, We used to invoke Him (Alone and none else) before. Verily, He is Al¬Barr (the Most Subtle, Kind, Courteous, and Generous), the Most Merciful."
আমরা পূর্বেও আল্লাহকে ডাকতাম। তিনি সৌজন্যশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
فَذَكِّرْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ
Therefore, remind (mankind of Islâmic Monotheism, O Muhammad SAW). By the Grace of Allâh, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.
অতএব, আপনি উপদেশ দান করুন। আপনার পালনকর্তার কৃপায় আপনি অতীন্দ্রিয়বাদী নন এবং উম্মাদও নন।
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيْبَ الْمَنُونِ
Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time.!"
তারা কি বলতে চায়ঃ সে একজন কবি আমরা তার মৃত্যু-দুর্ঘটনার প্রতীক্ষা করছি।
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا فَإِنِّي مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!"
বলুনঃ তোমরা প্রতীক্ষা কর, আমিও তোমাদের সাথে প্রতীক্ষারত আছি।
أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَامُهُمْ بِهَٰذَا ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people transgressing all the bounds?
তাদের বুদ্ধি কি এ বিষয়ে তাদেরকে আদেশ করে, না তারা সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়?
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Qur'ân)?" Nay! They believe not!
না তারা বলেঃ এই কোরআন সে নিজে রচনা করেছে? বরং তারা অবিশ্বাসী।
فَلْيَأْتُوا بِحَدِيثٍ مِثْلِهِ إِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ
Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Qur'ân) if they are truthful.
যদি তারা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকে, তবেএর অনুরূপ কোন রচনা উপস্থিত করুক।
أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ
Were they created by nothing? or were they themselves the creators?
তারা কি আপনা-আপনিই সৃজিত হয়ে গেছে, না তারা নিজেরাই স্রষ্টা?
أَمْ خَلَقُوا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُوقِنُونَ
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief.
না তারা নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছে? বরং তারা বিশ্বাস করে না।
أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ الْمُصَيْطِرُونَ
Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?
তাদের কাছে কি আপনার পালনকর্তার ভান্ডার রয়েছে, না তারাই সবকিছুর তত্ত্বাবধায়ক?
أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ
Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof.
না তাদের কোন সিঁড়ি আছে, যাতে আরোহণ করে তারা শ্রবণ করে? থাকলে তাদের শ্রোতা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করুক।
أَمْ لَهُ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَكُمُ الْبَنُونَ
Or has He (Allâh) only daughters and you have sons?
না তার কন্যা-সন্তান আছে আর তোমাদের আছে পুত্রসন্তান?
أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِنْ مَغْرَمٍ مُثْقَلُونَ
Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islâmic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt?
না আপনি তাদের কাছে পারিশ্রমিক চান যে, তাদের উপর জরিমানার বোঝা চেপে বসে?
أَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down?
না তাদের কাছে অদৃশ্য বিষয়ের জ্ঞান আছে যে, তারাই তা লিপিবদ্ধ করে?
أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا ۖ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ
Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh — Islâmic Monotheism) are themselves plotted against!
না তারা চক্রান্ত করতে চায়? অতএব যারা কাফের, তারই চক্রান্তের শিকার হবে।
أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
Or have they an ilâh (a god) other than Allâh? Glorified is Allâh from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him)
না তাদের আল্লাহ তা'আলা ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য আছে? তারা যাকে শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা'আলা তা থেকে পবিত্র।
وَإِنْ يَرَوْا كِسْفًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا سَحَابٌ مَرْكُومٌ
And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!"
তারা যদি আকাশের কোন খন্ডকে পতিত হতে দেখে, তবে বলে এটা তো পুঞ্জীভুত মেঘ।
فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ
So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror).
তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন সেদিন পর্যন্ত, যেদিন তাদের উপর বজ্রাঘাত পতিত হবে।
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ
The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell).
সেদিন তাদের চক্রান্ত তাদের কোন উপকারে আসবে না এবং তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্তও হবে না।
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabarî]
গোনাহগারদের জন্যে এছাড়া আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না।
وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes , and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep.
আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার নির্দেশের অপেক্ষায় সবর করুন। আপনি আমার দৃষ্টির সামনে আছেন এবং আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তêার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন যখন আপনি গাত্রোত্থান করেন।
