Surat al-Saffat (The Rangers) - ٧٣ - سورة الصافات

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows).
শপথ তাদের যারা সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে দাঁড়ানো,
فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا
By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way.
অতঃপর ধমকিয়ে ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারীদের,
فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Qur'ân from Allâh to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathîr].
অতঃপর মুখস্থ আবৃত্তিকারীদের-
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ
Verily your Ilâh (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allâh);
নিশ্চয় তোমাদের মাবুদ এক।
رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ
Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings.
তিনি আসমান সমূহ, যমীনও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা এবং পালনকর্তা উদয়াচলসমূহের।
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ
Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty).
নিশ্চয় আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে তারকারাজির দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি।
وَحِفْظًا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ
And to guard against every rebellious devil.
এবং তাকে সংরক্ষিত করেছি প্রত্যেক অবাধ্য শয়তান থেকে।
لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِنْ كُلِّ جَانِبٍ
They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side.
ওরা উর্ধ্ব জগতের কোন কিছু শ্রবণ করতে পারে না এবং চার দিক থেকে তাদের প্রতি উল্কা নিক্ষেপ করা হয়।
دُحُورًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ
Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.
ওদেরকে বিতাড়নের উদ্দেশে। ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরামহীন শাস্তি।
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ
Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness.
তবে কেউ ছোঁ মেরে কিছু শুনে ফেললে জ্বলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে।
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَا ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ لَازِبٍ
Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay.
আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা কঠিনতর, না আমি অন্য যা সৃষ্টি করেছি? আমিই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এঁটেল মাটি থেকে।
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ
Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Qur'ân).
বরং আপনি বিস্ময় বোধ করেন আর তারা বিদ্রুপ করে।
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ
And when they are reminded, they pay no attention.
যখন তাদেরকে বোঝানো হয়, তখন তারা বোঝে না।
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
And when they see an Ayâh (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allâh, they mock at it.
তারা যখন কোন নিদর্শন দেখে তখন বিদ্রূপ করে।
وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic!
এবং বলে, কিছুই নয়, এযে স্পষ্ট যাদু।
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
"When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected?
আমরা যখন মরে যাব, এবং মাটি ও হাড়ে পরিণত হয়ে যাব, তখনও কি আমরা পুনরুত্থিত হব?
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنْتُمْ دَاخِرُونَ
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated."
বলুন, হ্যাঁ এবং তোমরা হবে লাঞ্ছিত।
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ
It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring!
বস্তুতঃ সে উত্থান হবে একটি বিকট শব্দ মাত্র-যখন তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করতে থাকবে।
وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"
এবং বলবে, দুর্ভাগ্য আমাদের! এটাই তো প্রতিফল দিবস।
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
(It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."
বলা হবে, এটাই ফয়সালার দিন, যাকে তোমরা মিথ্যা বলতে।
احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ
It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship
একত্রিত কর গোনাহগারদেরকে, তাদের দোসরদেরকে এবং যাদের এবাদত তারা করত।
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
"Instead of Allâh, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);
আল্লাহ ব্যতীত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে পরিচালিত কর জাহান্নামের পথে,
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْئُولُونَ
"But stop them, verily they are to be questioned.
এবং তাদেরকে থামাও, তারা জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে;
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
"What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?"
তোমাদের কি হল যে, তোমরা একে অপরের সাহায্য করছ না?
بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
Nay, but that Day they shall surrender,
বরং তারা আজকের দিনে আত্নসমর্পণকারী।
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
And they will turn to one another and question one another.
তারা একে অপরের দিকে মুখ করে পরস্পরকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে।
قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, enjoin on us polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and from every good deed]."
বলবে, তোমরা তো আমাদের কাছে ডান দিক থেকে আসতে।
قَالُوا بَلْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers.
তারা বলবে, বরং তোমরা তো বিশ্বাসীই ছিলে না।
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ ۖ بَلْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
"And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were Taghun (transgressing) people (polytheists, and disbelievers).
এবং তোমাদের উপর আমাদের কোন কতৃত্ব ছিল না, বরং তোমরাই ছিলে সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا ۖ إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
"So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment).
আমাদের বিপক্ষে আমাদের পালনকর্তার উক্তিই সত্য হয়েছে। আমাদেরকে অবশই স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে।
فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
"So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray."
আমরা তোমাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিলাম। কারণ আমরা নিজেরাই পথভ্রষ্ট ছিলাম।
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment.
তারা সবাই সেদিন শান্তিতে শরীক হবে।
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
Certainly, that is how We deal with Al¬Mujrimûn (polytheists, sinners, disbelivers, criminals, the disobedient to Allâh).
অপরাধীদের সাথে আমি এমনি ব্যবহার করে থাকি।
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Truly, when it was said to them: Lâ ilâha illallâh "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it).
তাদের যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য েনই, তখন তারা ঔদ্ধত্য প্রদর্শন করত।
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍ
And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our âlihah (gods) for the sake of a mad poet?
এবং বলত, আমরা কি এক উম্মাদ কবির কথায় আমাদের উপাস্যদেরকে পরিত্যাগ করব।
بَلْ جَاءَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allâh's religion - Islâmic Monotheism and this Qur'ân) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allâh's religion - Islâmic Monotheism).
না, তিনি সত্যসহ আগমন করেছেন এবং রসূলগণের সত্যতা স্বীকার করেছেন।
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment;
তোমরা অবশ্যই বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তি আস্বাদন করবে।
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allâh's disobedience which you used to do in this world);
তোমরা যা করতে, তারই প্রতিফল পাবে।
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Save the chosen slaves of Allâh (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism).
তবে তারা নয়, যারা আল্লাহর বাছাই করা বান্দা।
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَعْلُومٌ
For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise),
তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে নির্ধারিত রুযি।
فَوَاكِهُ ۖ وَهُمْ مُكْرَمُونَ
Fruits; and they shall be honoured,
ফল-মূল এবং তারা সম্মানিত।
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِكَأْسٍ مِنْ مَعِينٍ
Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine,—
তাদেরকে ঘুরে ফিরে পরিবেশন করা হবে স্বচ্ছ পানপাত্র।
بَيْضَاءَ لَذَّةٍ لِلشَّارِبِينَ
White, delicious to the drinkers,
সুশুভ্র, যা পানকারীদের জন্যে সুস্বাদু।
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنْزَفُونَ
Neither will they have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom.
তাতে মাথা ব্যথার উপাদান নেই এবং তারা তা পান করে মাতালও হবে না।
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
And beside them will be Qâsirât-at-Tarf [chaste females (wives), restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands)], with wide and beautiful eyes.
তাদের কাছে থাকবে নত, আয়তলোচনা তরুণীগণ।
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ
(Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved.
যেন তারা সুরক্ষিত ডিম।
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning.
অতঃপর তারা একে অপরের দিকে মুখ করে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে।
قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world),
তাদের একজন বলবে, আমার এক সঙ্গী ছিল।
يَقُولُ أَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ
Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death).
সে বলত, তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর যে,
أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
"(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?"
আমরা যখন মরে যাব এবং মাটি ও হাড়ে পরিণত হব, তখনও কি আমরা প্রতিফল প্রাপ্ত হব?
قَالَ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُطَّلِعُونَ
(The speaker) said: "Will you look down?"
আল্লাহ বলবেন, তোমরা কি তাকে উকি দিয়ে দেখতে চাও?
فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.
অপর সে উকি দিয়ে দেখবে এবং তাকে জাহান্নামের মাঝখানে দেখতে পাবে।
قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدْتَ لَتُرْدِينِ
He said: "By Allâh! You have nearly ruined me.
সে বলবে, আল্লাহর কসম, তুমি তো আমাকে প্রায় ধ্বংসই করে দিয়েছিলে।
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ
"Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)."
আমার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ না হলে আমিও যে গ্রেফতারকৃতদের সাথেই উপস্থিত হতাম।
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
(The dwellers of Paradise will say): "Are we then not to die (any more)?
এখন আমাদের আর মৃত্যু হবে না।
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
"Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)."
আমাদের প্রথম মৃত্যু ছাড়া এবং আমরা শাস্তি প্রাপ্তও হব না।
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Truly, this is the supreme success!
নিশ্চয় এই মহা সাফল্য।
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَامِلُونَ
For the like of this let the workers work.
এমন সাফল্যের জন্যে পরিশ্রমীদের পরিশ্রম করা উচিত।
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ نُزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ الزَّقُّومِ
Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqûm (a horrible tree in Hell)?
এই কি উত্তম আপ্যায়ন, না যাক্কুম বৃক্ষ?
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهَا فِتْنَةً لِلظَّالِمِينَ
Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zâlimûn (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers).
আমি যালেমদের জন্যে একে বিপদ করেছি।
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ
Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire,
এটি একটি বৃক্ষ, যা উদগত হয় জাহান্নামের মূলে।
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ
The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayâtin (devils);
এর গুচ্ছ শয়তানের মস্তকের মত।
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَآكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِئُونَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُونَ
Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith.
কাফেররা একে ভক্ষণ করবে এবং এর দ্বারা উদর পূর্ণ করবে।
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًا مِنْ حَمِيمٍ
Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqûm in their bellies).
তদুপরি তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে। ফুটন্ত পানির মিশ্রণ,
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ
Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell.
অতঃপর তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে জাহান্নামের দিকে।
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ ضَالِّينَ
Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path;
তারা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছিল বিপথগামী।
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ
So they (too) hastend in their footsteps!
অতঃপর তারা তদের পদাংক অনুসরণে তৎপর ছিল।
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them;
তাদের পূর্বেও অগ্রবর্তীদের অধিকাংশ বিপথগামী হয়েছিল।
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ
And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers);
আমি তাদের মধ্যে ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারী প্রেরণ করেছিলাম।
فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ
Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not).
অতএব লক্ষ্য করুন, যাদেরকে ভীতিপ্রদর্শণ করা হয়েছিল, তাদের পরিণতি কি হয়েছে।
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Except the chosen slaves of Allâh (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islâmic Monotheism).
তবে আল্লাহর বাছাই করা বান্দাদের কথা ভিন্ন।
وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ
And indeed Nûh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request).
আর নূহ আমাকে ডেকেছিল। আর কি চমৎকারভাবে আমি তার ডাকে সাড়া দিয়েছিলাম।
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning),
আমি তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে এক মহাসংকট থেকে রক্ষা করেছিলাম।
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ
And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth).
এবং তার বংশধরদেরকেই আমি অবশিষ্ট রেখেছিলাম।
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations:
আমি তার জন্যে পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে এ বিষয় রেখে দিয়েছি যে,
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ
"Salâm (peace) be upon Nûh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!"
বিশ্ববাসীর মধ্যে নূহের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক।
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112).
আমি এভাবেই সৎকর্ম পরায়নদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করে থাকি।
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Verily, he [Nûh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves.
সে ছিল আমার ঈমানদার বান্দাদের অন্যতম।
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
Then We drowned the others (disbelievers and polytheists).
অতঃপর আমি অপরাপর সবাইকে নিমজ্জত করেছিলাম।
وَإِنَّ مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ لَإِبْرَاهِيمَ
And, verily, among those who followed his [Nûh's (Noah)] way (Islâmic Monotheism) was Ibrâhim (Abraham).
আর নূহ পন্থীদেরই একজন ছিল ইব্রাহীম।
إِذْ جَاءَ رَبَّهُ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allâh Alone - and none else, worshipping none but Allâh Alone true Islâmic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism].
যখন সে তার পালনকর্তার নিকট সুষ্ঠু চিত্তে উপস্থিত হয়েছিল,
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ
When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship?
যখন সে তার পিতা ও সম্প্রদায়কে বলেছিলঃ তোমরা কিসের উপাসনা করছ?
أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
"Is it a falsehood âlihah (gods) other than Allâh that you desire?
তোমরা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত মিথ্যা উপাস্য কামনা করছ?
فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
"Then what think you about the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn, and all that exists)?"
বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তা সম্পর্কে তোমাদের ধারণা কি?
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ
Then he cast a glance at the stars,
অতঃপর সে একবার তারকাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করল।
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ
And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague). [He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan feast]."
এবং বললঃ আমি পীড়িত।
فَتَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ
So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease).
অতঃপর তারা তার প্রতি পিঠ ফিরিয়ে চলে গেল।
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Then he turned to their âlihah (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)?
অতঃপর সে তাদের দেবালয়ে, গিয়ে ঢুকল এবং বললঃ তোমরা খাচ্ছ না কেন?
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنْطِقُونَ
"What is the matter with you that you speak not?"
তোমাদের কি হল যে, কথা বলছ না?
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًا بِالْيَمِينِ
Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand.
অতঃপর সে প্রবল আঘাতে তাদের উপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ল।
فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ
Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening.
তখন লোকজন তার দিকে ছুটে এলো ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত পদে।
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ
He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve?
সে বললঃ তোমরা স্বহস্ত নির্মিত পাথরের পূজা কর কেন?
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
"While Allâh has created you and what you make!"
অথচ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এবং তোমরা যা নির্মাণ করছ সবাইকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَانًا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ
They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!"
তারা বললঃ এর জন্যে একটি ভিত নির্মাণ কর এবং অতঃপর তাকে আগুনের স্তুপে নিক্ষেপ কর।
فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ
So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest.
তারপর তারা তার বিরুদ্ধে মহা ষড়যন্ত্র আঁটতে চাইল, কিন্তু আমি তাদেরকেই পরাভূত করে দিলাম।
وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!"
সে বললঃ আমি আমার পালনকর্তার দিকে চললাম, তিনি আমাকে পথপ্রদর্শন করবেন।
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
"My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous."
হে আমার পরওয়ারদেগার! আমাকে এক সৎপুত্র দান কর।
فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ
So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy.
সুতরাং আমি তাকে এক সহনশীল পুত্রের সুসংবাদ দান করলাম।
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِي إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ
And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allâh), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Inshâ' Allâh (if Allâh will), you shall find me of As-Sâbirun (the patient)."
অতঃপর সে যখন পিতার সাথে চলাফেরা করার বয়সে উপনীত হল, তখন ইব্রাহীম তাকে বললঃ বৎস! আমি স্বপ্নে দেখিযে, তোমাকে যবেহ করছি; এখন তোমার অভিমত কি দেখ। সে বললঃ পিতাঃ! আপনাকে যা আদেশ করা হয়েছে, তাই করুন। আল্লাহ চাহে তো আপনি আমাকে সবরকারী পাবেন।
فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ
Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allâh), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering);
যখন পিতা-পুত্র উভয়েই আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করল এবং ইব্রাহীম তাকে যবেহ করার জন্যে শায়িত করল।
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
And We called out to him: "O Abraham!
তখন আমি তাকে ডেকে বললামঃ হে ইব্রাহীম,
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ الرُّؤْيَا ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
You have fulfilled the dream!" Verily! thus do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112).
তুমি তো স্বপ্নকে সত্যে পরিণত করে দেখালে! আমি এভাবেই সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْبَلَاءُ الْمُبِينُ
Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial.
নিশ্চয় এটা এক সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা।
وَفَدَيْنَاهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍ
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. کبش - a ram);
আমি তার পরিবর্তে দিলাম যবেহ করার জন্যে এক মহান জন্তু।
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations.
আমি তার জন্যে এ বিষয়টি পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে রেখে দিয়েছি যে,
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
Salâmun (peace) be upon Ibrâhim (Abraham)!"
ইব্রাহীমের প্রতি সালাম বর্ষিত হোক।
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112).
এমনিভাবে আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves.
সে ছিল আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাদের একজন।
وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishâq (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.
আমি তাকে সুসংবাদ দিয়েছি ইসহাকের, সে সৎকর্মীদের মধ্য থেকে একজন নবী।
وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰ إِسْحَاقَ ۚ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ
We blessed him and Ishâq (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves.
তাকে এবং ইসহাককে আমি বরকত দান করেছি। তাদের বংশধরদের মধ্যে কতক সৎকর্মী এবং কতক নিজেদের উপর স্পষ্ট জুলুমকারী।
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Mûsa (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron).
আমি অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম মূসা ও হারুনের প্রতি।
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ
And We saved them and their people from the great distress;
তাদেরকে ও তাদের সম্প্রদায়কে উদ্ধার করেছি মহা সংকট থেকে।
وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ
And helped them, so that they became the victors;
আমি তাদেরকে সাহায্য করেছিলাম, ফলে তারাই ছিল বিজয়ী।
وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ
And We gave them the clear Scripture;
আমি উভয়কে দিয়েছিলাম সুস্পষ্ট কিতাব।
وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
And guided them to the Right Path;
এবং তাদেরকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেছিলাম।
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ
And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among the generations;
আমি তাদের জন্যে পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে এ বিষয় রেখে দিয়েছি যে,
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ
Salâm (peace) be upon Mûsa (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron)!"
মূসা ও হারুনের প্রতি সালাম বর্ষিত হোক।
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112).
এভাবে আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Verily! they were two of Our believing slaves.
তারা উভয়েই ছিল আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাদের অন্যতম।
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
And verily, Iliyâs (Elias) was one of the Messengers
নিশ্চয়ই ইলিয়াস ছিল রসূল।
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allâh?
যখন সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বললঃ তোমরা কি ভয় কর না ?
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ الْخَالِقِينَ
"Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators,
তোমরা কি বা'আল দেবতার এবাদত করবে এবং সর্বোত্তম স্রষ্টাকে পরিত্যাগ করবে।
اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
"Allâh, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?"
যিনি আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা এবং তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের পালনকর্তা?
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
But they denied him [Iliyâs (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment),
অতঃপর তারা তাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করল। অতএব তারা অবশ্যই গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে।
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Except the chosen slaves of Allâh.
কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা'আলার খাঁটি বান্দাগণ নয়।
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ
And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations (to come) in later times;
আমি তার জন্যে পরবর্তীদের মধ্যে এ বিষয়ে রেখে দিয়েছি যে,
سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ إِلْ يَاسِينَ
Salâm (peace) be upon Ilyâsîn (Elias)!"
ইলিয়াসের প্রতি সালাম বর্ষিত হোক!
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinûn (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allâh's sake only - see V.2:112)
এভাবেই আমি সৎকর্মীদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকি।
إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves.
সে ছিল আমার বিশ্বাসী বান্দাদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
وَإِنَّ لُوطًا لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
And verily, Lut (Lot) was one of the Messengers
নিশ্চয় লূত ছিলেন রসূলগণের একজন।
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ
When We saved him and his family, all,
যখন আমি তাকেও তার পরিবারের সবাইকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম;
إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ
Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind.
কিন্তু এক বৃদ্ধাকে ছাড়া; সে অন্যান্যদের সঙ্গে থেকে গিয়েছিল।
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ
Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the town of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea now in Palestine].
অতঃপর অবশিষ্টদেরকে আমি সমূলে উৎপাটিত করেছিলাম।
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مُصْبِحِينَ
Verily, you pass by them in the morning.
তোমরা তোমাদের ধ্বংস স্তুপের উপর দিয়ে গমন কর ভোর বেলায়
وَبِاللَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
And at night; will you not then reflect?
এবং সন্ধ্যায়, তার পরেও কি তোমরা বোঝ না?
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
And, verily, Yûnus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers
আর ইউনুসও ছিলেন পয়গম্বরগণের একজন।
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
When he ran to the laden ship,
যখন পালিয়ে তিনি বোঝাই নৌকায় গিয়ে পৌঁছেছিলেন।
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ
Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers,
অতঃপর লটারী (সুরতি) করালে তিনি দোষী সাব্যস্ত হলেন।
فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
Then a (big) fish swallowed as and he had done an act worthy of blame.
অতঃপর একটি মাছ তাঁকে গিলে ফেলল, তখন তিনি অপরাধী গণ্য হয়েছিলেন।
فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ
Had he not been of them who glorify Allâh,
যদি তিনি আল্লাহর তসবীহ পাঠ না করতেন,
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection.
তবে তাঁকে কেয়ামত দিবস পর্যন্ত মাছের পেটেই থাকতে হত।
فَنَبَذْنَاهُ بِالْعَرَاءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ
But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick,
অতঃপর আমি তাঁকে এক বিস্তীর্ণ-বিজন প্রান্তরে নিক্ষেপ করলাম, তখন তিনি ছিলেন রুগ্ন।
وَأَنْبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةً مِنْ يَقْطِينٍ
And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him.
আমি তাঁর উপর এক লতাবিশিষ্ট বৃক্ষ উদগত করলাম।
وَأَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ مِائَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ
And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more.
এবং তাঁকে, লক্ষ বা ততোধিক লোকের প্রতি প্রেরণ করলাম।
فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while.
তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করল অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে নির্ধারিত সময় পর্যন্ত জীবনোপভোগ করতে দিলাম।
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ الْبَنُونَ
Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?"
এবার তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তোমার পালনকর্তার জন্যে কি কন্যা সন্তান রয়েছে এবং তাদের জন্যে কি পুত্র-সন্তান।
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِنَاثًا وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ
Or did We create the angels female while they were witnesses?
না কি আমি তাদের উপস্থিতিতে ফেরেশতাগণকে নারীরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি?
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ مِنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ
Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say:
জেনো, তারা মনগড়া উক্তি করে যে,
وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
"Allâh has begotten (off spring the angels being the daughters of Allâh)?" And, verily, they are liars!
আল্লাহ সন্তান জন্ম দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয় তারা মিথ্যাবাদী।
أَصْطَفَى الْبَنَاتِ عَلَى الْبَنِينَ
Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons?
তিনি কি পুত্র-সন্তানের স্থলে কন্যা-সন্তান পছন্দ করেছেন?
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
What is the matter with you? How do you decide?
তোমাদের কি হল? তোমাদের এ কেমন সিন্ধান্ত?
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُبِينٌ
Or is there for you a plain authority?
না কি তোমাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট কোন দলীল রয়েছে?
فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Then bring your Book if you are truthful!
তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে তোমাদের কিতাব আন।
وَجَعَلُوا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ الْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ
And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinn, but the jinn know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for account).
তারা আল্লাহ ও জ্বিনদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক সাব্যস্ত করেছে, অথচ জ্বিনেরা জানে যে, তারা গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে।
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Glorified is Allâh! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him!
তারা যা বলে তা থেকে আল্লাহ পবিত্র।
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Except the slaves of Allâh, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islâmic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allâh).
তবে যারা আল্লাহর নিষ্ঠাবান বান্দা, তারা গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে না।
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ
So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols)
অতএব তোমরা এবং তোমরা যাদের উপাসনা কর,
مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ
Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allâh) anyone of the believers],
তাদের কাউকেই তোমরা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বিভ্রান্ত করতে পারবে না।
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ
Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell!
শুধুমাত্র তাদের ছাড়া যারা জাহান্নামে পৌছাবে।
وَمَا مِنَّا إِلَّا لَهُ مَقَامٌ مَعْلُومٌ
And there is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position);
আমাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য রয়েছে নির্দিষ্ট স্থান।
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الصَّافُّونَ
Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows (for the prayers as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers);
এবং আমরাই সারিবদ্ধভাবে দন্ডায়মান থাকি।
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْمُسَبِّحُونَ
And verily, we (angels), indeed are those who glorify (Allâh's Praises i.e. perform prayers).
এবং আমরাই আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করি।
لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا ذِكْرًا مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ
"If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allâh).
যদি আমাদের কাছে পূর্ববর্তীদের কোন উপদেশ থাকত,
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
"We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allâh (true believers of Islâmic Monotheism)!"
তবে আমরা অবশ্যই আল্লাহর মনোনীত বান্দা হতাম।
فَكَفَرُوا بِهِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
But (now that the Qur'ân has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Qur'ân and in Prophet Muhammad SAW , and all that he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know!
বস্তুতঃ তারা এই কোরআনকে অস্বীকার করেছে। এখন শীঘ্রই তারা জেনে নিতে পারবে,
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers,
আমার রাসূল ও বান্দাগণের ব্যাপারে আমার এই বাক্য সত্য হয়েছে যে,
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ
That they verily would be made triumphant.
অবশ্যই তারা সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত হয়।
وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors.
আর আমার বাহিনীই হয় বিজয়ী।
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while,
অতএব আপনি কিছুকালের জন্যে তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা করুন।
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)!
এবং তাদেরকে দেখতে থাকুন। শীঘ্রই তারাও এর পরিণাম দেখে নেবে।
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment?
আমার আযাব কি তারা দ্রুত কামনা করে?
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ
Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned!
অতঃপর যখন তাদের আঙ্গিনায় আযাব নাযিল হবে, তখন যাদেরকে সতর্ক করা হয়েছিল, তাদের সকাল বেলাটি হবে খুবই মন্দ।
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while,
আপনি কিছুকালের জন্যে তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা করুন।
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
And watch and they shall see (the torment)!
এবং দেখতে থাকুন, শীঘ্রই তারাও এর পরিণাম দেখে নেবে।
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Glorified is your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him!
পবিত্র আপনার পরওয়ারদেগারের সত্তা, তিনি সম্মানিত ও পবিত্র যা তারা বর্ণনা করে তা থেকে।
وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ
And peace be on the Messengers!
পয়গম্বরগণের প্রতি সালাম বর্ষিত হোক।
