بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of the daybreak,
বলুন, আমি আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করছি প্রভাতের পালনকর্তার,
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
"From the evil of what He has created;
তিনি যা সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তার অনিষ্ট থেকে,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
"And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away)
অন্ধকার রাত্রির অনিষ্ট থেকে, যখন তা সমাগত হয়,
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
"And from the evil of those who practise witchcrafts when they blow in the knots,
গ্রন্থিতে ফুঁৎকার দিয়ে জাদুকারিনীদের অনিষ্ট থেকে
